Privacy Policy

How createimage2 collects, uses, and protects your data when you use our GPT Image 2 service.

Introduction

createimage2 is an independent platform that lets you generate AI images using OpenAI's GPT Image 2 (gpt-image-2) model. Your privacy matters — this policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and what control you have. We keep it specific to what we actually do, not generic boilerplate.

1. What We Collect

We collect only what's needed to run the GPT Image 2 service:

  1. Account information. When you sign up, we store your email, name (if provided), and authentication tokens (Google OAuth or email-link sign-in). We do not store passwords — auth is handled by Better-Auth and Google.

  2. Prompts and reference images. Whatever you type into the generator and any reference images you upload. We send these to the GPT Image 2 backend (via kie.ai, our routing partner brokering OpenAI's gpt-image-2 endpoint) to generate your output.

  3. Generated images. Images created from your prompts. Stored in our Cloudflare R2 bucket so you can re-download them from your account.

  4. Free-trial fingerprint. For the no-signup free trial we store a salted hash of your IP address + browser user agent + a Cloudflare Turnstile token. This prevents trial abuse and is never used to identify you personally.

  5. Usage logs. Task IDs, model used, generation time, and pass/fail status — for support and debugging. Stored in our Neon Postgres database.

  6. Payment information. Stripe handles all card processing — we never see your full card number. Stripe shares with us your customer ID, products purchased, and amount paid.

  7. Analytics (Google Analytics 4). Aggregated traffic data: pages viewed, referrer, device type, country. We do not record sessions.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not train any model on your prompts or generated images.
  • We do not sell your data to advertisers.
  • We do not share your generated images with other users — your gallery is private.
  • We do not store full IP addresses (only salted hashes for trial-abuse prevention).

We use no tracker outside this list. No Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or third-party ad networks.

4. How Long We Keep Data

  • Account data: Until you delete your account.
  • Prompts and generated images: Until you delete them, or your account.
  • Free-trial fingerprints: Rotated/expired automatically after 24 hours.
  • Stripe payment records: Retained for tax/audit compliance (typically 7 years).
  • GA4 analytics: Default retention (14 months).

Request full deletion at any time by emailing support@createimage2.com.

5. Your Rights

If you are in the EU/EEA (GDPR), the UK, California (CCPA), or any jurisdiction with similar rights, you can:

  • Access the data we hold on you.
  • Correct any inaccurate data.
  • Delete your account and associated data.
  • Export your data (account info, prompts, generated images).
  • Withdraw consent for analytics and optional cookies.

Email support@createimage2.com to exercise any of these rights — we respond within 30 days.

6. Cookies

  • Auth cookies (essential): Keep you signed in.
  • Stripe cookies (essential): Process payments securely.
  • Cloudflare cookies (essential): Bot prevention and routing.
  • Google Analytics cookie (optional): Aggregated analytics. Decline via Do Not Track or your jurisdiction's cookie banner.

7. Generated Images and Commercial Use

You own the images you generate from your prompts, with full commercial rights, on every plan including the free tier. We retain no copyright claim to your output. See the Terms of Service for the full grant.

8. Children's Privacy

createimage2 is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has signed up, email support@createimage2.com and we will delete the account.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy; the current version is always at https://createimage2.com/privacy-policy with the "last updated" date below. For material changes (new data processors, new data categories), we email registered users 30 days before the change takes effect.
